Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• In-depth knowledge of metallurgical principles, materials characterization
techniques, and metallurgical processes.
• Proficiency in utilizing metallurgical laboratory equipment and software
tools for analysis, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, SEM, EDS, mechanical
testing, and thermal analysis.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, statistical analysis,
and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret
complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey
technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational & Experience Requirement:
• MSc degree or higher, in in Material Science/Engineering, Metallurgy or
another technically related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in new material development,
manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering,
tooling.
• Metallurgy Experience of Heat Treatment, Forging, Casting and properties of
a wide range of steels, nickel based super alloys, titanium alloys and other
alloys.
• 3D printing experience is preferred.
• Significant professional experience in metallurgical research, development,
and process optimization, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing
setting.
• Experience in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving
methodologies related to metallurgical failures.
